Wake County has officially released the details of their 2020 ABC Specialty Bourbon and Whiskey lottery. The upcoming lottery is an online entry drawing (as it was in 2019). The 2020 Wake County ABC Lottery is available to all Wake County residents and property owners over the age of 21.
This lottery includes bottles from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection and Pappy Van Winkle lineup, as well as many other coveted (and less so) allocated bottles.

How to Enter with 2020 Wake ABC Bourbon Lottery
To be eligible for entry, you must be over 21 and reside in (or own property in) Wake County. Verification will be required to make your purchase. All eligible persons will be allowed only one entry.
This year, you will be asked to rank your preferences of available bottles. Presumably, this will be taken into account upon randomization of the full entrants list.

Does every county in nc do these lotteries? I live in craven county and have never heard of a lottery for these items
Only some counties do a lottery like this. Some are online-entry, others are in-person entry. Other ABC boards will either distribute to a list or just put things on the shelf. Always worth asking how your local shops distribute hard to find bourbon!
I keep getting an error message when trying to sign up for the bourbon and whiskey lottery
They stopped accepting entries on November 21st, which is probably why you were receiving errors.
When will the November 2020 lottery winners be announced? Will the winners names be posted on line?
They emailed individual winners early last week. I didn’t win anything… did you?
Where and when can I find the lottery winners
I don’t think they are posted anywhere, but if you won you should have received an email from Wake County ABC. We at nc-whiskey.com aren’t in charge of the lotteries or associated with the ABC system in anyway… just here to provide some info.
